I am a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Junior at Dickinson College working to eradicate stigma-causing diseases that frequent the LGBTQ+ community. As part of my studies, I had the chance to immerse in a National Science Foundation-funded research to study the epigenetic weapons of plants on insects. While there, I finessed my experiment design, data analysis, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. My professors describe me as an enthusiastic and determined individual who always strives for intellectual and mental improvement. Currently, I hope to gain more hands-on biomedical research experience to thrive in graduate school.
