Hello! My name is Kyle, and I've had the unique opportunity to blend my passion for healthcare, martial arts, and now, information technology into a dynamic and fulfilling career journey. For over a decade, I served as a Healthcare Specialist in the New Jersey National Guard, where I honed my skills in patient care, emergency response, and medical support. This role taught me invaluable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and the importance of staying calm under pressure. My time in the medical field wasn't just a job—it was a calling that allowed me to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Parallel to my medical career, I discovered a profound love for martial arts. Starting as an Assistant Martial Arts Instructor in July 2019, I quickly realized the joy of teaching and empowering others. By April 2022, I had advanced to the role of Martial Arts Instructor at Team Endurance MMA. Here, I developed my skills in public speaking, customer service, and leadership, all while helping students build confidence and discipline. The martial arts dojo became my second home, a place where I could channel my energy and help others achieve their personal best. Now, I'm excitedly stepping into a new chapter of my professional life as I transition into the IT field. Through NPower's comprehensive apprenticeship program, I've gained hands-on experience and technical knowledge that are setting me up for success in this fast-paced industry. This program has been an incredible opportunity to expand my skill set and embrace the challenges and innovations that come with a career in technology. My journey has been anything but conventional, and that's what makes it so rewarding. The blend of healthcare, martial arts, and IT has provided me with a diverse skill set and a unique perspective on problem-solving and leadership.
