About Kyle Petersen

My extensive corp. accounting and finance management experience in multinational companies coupled with my exceptional linguistic capabilities spanning myriad languages places me in a unique position to be able to provide the highest quality financial and linguistic services to discerning clients. Based on this rare combination of outstanding expertise, I successfully created and run two companies providing these services to a broad base of local and global clientele. Petersen Accounting and Tax Services - I am an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and I hold FINRA licenses 7, 24, and 63. I have years of experience in all areas of accounting and finance in multinational environments at public and private companies. I have been fully responsible for finance and accounting functions for entities up to $3 billion in revenue overseeing up to 110 reports. Building on the knowledge obtained in the corporate world, I have been providing accounting and tax related services to individuals and businesses for a few years. Petersen Translations - I personally speak, read, and write German, French, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, and Spanish to varying degrees. I have lived in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, and the Ukraine. I attended university in Sweden and Germany. I have worked in Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Italy, the UK, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, and Argentina. On the basis of living, working, and studying in the various countries, I obtained a very good feeling for the nuances of the different cultures and linguistic subtleties that can only be learned by years of immersion. I incorporate this expertise into the translations to ensure a level of quality that can probably not be found elsewhere. Additionally, I have also visited another 15 countries over the years. Based on all of this knowledge, I have been providing expert level translations in specialized fields for more than 20 years.
