About Kyle Piper

I'm a 24 year geotechnical engineer with a degree in geological and watershed sciences at Colorado State University. I have spent a majority of my life in Boulder Colorado and transitioned to Fort Collins Colorado once I started college. I am passionate about geological sciences and engineering and it translates into my personal life as well. I particularly enjoy exploring geological formations across the western US and have given lectures in areas such as Death Valley NP and the Sangre De Cristo range. I love to be hands on with the work I do, which has allowed me to practice a variety of skills. I pride myself on being able to solve most problems that come my way, and with backgrounds in wilderness first aid, search & rescue, backcountry navigation, I'm equipped to handle adversity in the field. My long term career goals include finding a position that is actively contributing to innovative solutions in our environment and working with a close team doing so.
