About Kyle Pottie

When I was five years old I got my first introduction to video games and little did I know then that it would impact my career path forever. Video games became a part of my life and pushed me to explore computer science through programming where I quickly found a deep enjoyment for the unending puzzles and problems that come along with programming. In my current role as the IT Team Lead at allNovaScotia I have had the privelige to help create and maintain a suite of applications, produced entirely in house using a tech stack comprised of: React, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP, and MySQL, that are used to manage every aspect of the day to day business requirements. I've also gained valuable knowledge on managing the infastructure of the company tech stack. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, participating in group social activities with friends; which includes: board games, recreational sports, and of course playing video games! I'm excited to see where my career will take me and the opprotunities I will have to connect with more people who share my passions.
