I kept thinking back to my high-school job cleaning windows—every day was different, every client had a story, and the satisfaction of revealing a crystal-clear view was unmatched. Entrepreneurship was in my blood. My mother had built her own bread-baking business when I was a kid, and I grew up watching the grit, creativity, and independence it took to succeed. Eventually, I decided to follow in her footsteps. I traded my cubicle for a squeegee, left my comfortable job, bartended on weekends to make ends meet, and started cleaning windows one home at a time. I wasn’t a marketing major or a business school grad—just a determined problem-solver with a love for people. I knocked on doors, read every book I could on business, sales, and marketing, and learned by doing. Over time, my side hustle grew into a thriving company. Today, Geek Window Cleaning is Houston’s #1 residential window cleaning service, with a second location in Austin. Our culture is built on care—for our customers, our team, and our craft. And in 2015, I launched our Always Clean Program, a first-of-its-kind subscription model in our industry, giving homeowners sparkling windows year-round for as little as $45/month. It’s transformed the way people think about home maintenance. The name? That’s personal too—I’m a lifelong sci-fi geek, and I wanted a brand that reflected who I am: curious, innovative, and unapologetically different. From a single bucket and ladder to a multi-city operation with a bold vision for the future, my journey is about more than cleaning windows—it’s about chasing a dream, honoring my family’s entrepreneurial spirit, and proving what’s possible when you take the leap.
