Where there is a will, there is a way.” My journey as an IT professional began in 2012 when I did technical support for Dollarama stores and franchise restaurants. That later grew into an opportunity at a publicly traded company with ownership of over 80 franchise restaurant brands, and more than locations. Exposure to the corporate world was a stepping stone for my career. I eventually became an IT specialist for the head office and other corporate sites. I learned about true leadership, teamwork, and honed my technical skills. I am currently an IT Technician at METRO, a leader in Canadian grocery stores. They also own Jean Coutu, a key player in Canada’s drug retail market. Our team supports systems and users for the corporate offices and distribution centers.
