About Kyle Robbins

As an alumni at the University of Maine, I have recently completed my degree in Finance and Economics with the goal of working in the industry of banking. I also intend on pursuing my CFA after my undergraduate studies. As President of Delta Tau Delta at the University of Maine, I have gained irreplaceable leadership and interpersonal skills. Running a chapter, I have learned how to manage a large organization, handling important aspects like running a budget. This experience has benefitted me most because everyday you face adversity. I have learned how to confidently and calmly react to unexpected situations. Under my leadership the chapter was awarded “Court of Honor” recognizing us as a top 20 chapter in the nation: we were 11th/126 chapters. We also achieved the highest GPA out of any chapter of Delta Tau Delta in the nation. The most fulfilling part of winning the awards was knowing I helped lead the 10 executive boards members to do their best and achieve their goals. My hope is that I made all my fellow members better people during this time and helped them grow to better achieve their goals and desires in life. The word the best describes me is a leader. My entire life I have been able to make decisions that are not only well thought out, but prompt and firm. I have an uncanny ability to resolve conflict and deal with confidential issues that may be impacting a person. Lastly, I am very skilled at working in groups and getting work done in a highly efficient, yet, relaxed manner.
