The journey has also led me through the world of education, where I've worn many hats - from being a High School Teacher specialising in Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education to a Special Education Teacher at Cairnsfoot, dedicated to supporting students with complex needs. In my four years as a firefighter, I learned the value of quick thinking and teamwork, staying calm and problem solving in stressful situations, responding to countless emergencies and building a deep sense of community. I have played Basketball for over a decade and was voted Club Person of the Year at Port Waratah Basketball Club. Recognised as being outgoing and approachable, a natural leader with a proven track record in successful stakeholder engagement. My passion for culture change and ability to motivate others have been driving forces throughout my career. With a double bachelor's degree in education, I've designed and delivered programs, coached, and embraced change management with a solutions-focused mindset.
