About Kyle Stewart

I love fixing problems. And I love doing that by equipping, growing, organizing and motivating other people to help. I am what happens when the best ideas a culture can offer are married to a thriving, joyous work ethic and have critically-minded but big-hearted child: a force for persistent, beautiful, objectively-measured change. Big ideas aren't so big if they don't change the way you live and work every day, and I've made doing so my life's work. I have created, worked for and with organizations that are committed to being great and doing good in concert. Most everyone can or does collect a paycheck; few do so while "paying it back" and "paying it forward". I revel in being able to make a living by applying the best thinking around for the purpose of bettering it for generations to come. All of these ideas and commitments work their way out in a skill set that is both broader and deeper than most. I attribute that to the good fortune of being a member of a number of communities that view critical thinking as the primary means for engaging the world around us. As such, I'm good at. • Creating training, documentation and technical materials that will last as long as the Internet does (XML). • Applying the Toyota Production System (TPS/Lean) to a wide variety of non-production uses. • Using Greek mythology to get customer service professionals to ask better questions. • Building business plans for farm-to-table organic food delivery and education services. • Persuading rock stars to give up their lives of fame and fortune in favor of Gen. Ed. classes. • Creating pivot tables to regularly out "Bid Data" my opponents in Fantasy Baseball. • Convincing just about anyone that a life lived for the Good, the Beautiful and the True is the only one worth living.
