About Kyle Swanson

Being a transplant to Arizona from North Dakota, I’ve learned to appreciate the beautiful weather. My favorite way to enjoy the southwest is by touring Arizona on my motorcycle. Being an Architect has allowed me to express my passion for drawing, inventing and making things as I utilize these skills on a daily basis. Along the way, I have been able to develop another passion of mine, computer programming/technology adoption. As a Principal Architect, I lead Arrington Watkins Architects' technology development and implementation for the entire office. My greatest focus is staying up to date with the advancement of Building Information Modeling (BIM) utilizing Autodesk's Revit platform along with a number of other software enhancements. My goal is to ensure that we provide the best service to our clients by having the most relevant and up-to-date technology tools available. My vast and varied experience as an architect has brought me to a position of leadership working directly with our team through the management process on very technically complex projects in the security, justice and public safety facility sectors. As a working Principal, I oversee the design process on projects with multiple buildings that involve a high level of security, access control systems, large IT/phone/data systems, redundant power demands and large infrastructure requirements.
