About Kyle Tollefson
My intellectual curiosity and love of the outdoors have resulted in me attaining a MSc degree in Geology after studying both Materials Science and Geology as an undergraduate. Through my studies in these fields, I have gained proficiency in field research and operating numerous forms of instrumentation in multiple research disciplines. With these experiences, my current goal is to expand my knowledge base and gain more expertise in the areas of structural geology; tectonics & microstructures; geochronology; geothermobarometry; igneous and metamorphic petrology; and evolution of shear zones, which I am currently doing by pursuing a Doctorate degree in Geology.
