About Kyle Tramonte

Kyle Tramonte is an associate in the International Disputes, Crises, and National Security Group of Jenner & Block’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on assisting plaintiffs in high stakes international disputes in U.S. federal courts, including actions brought under or implicating the Antiterrorism Act, Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, federal human rights statutes, customary international law, and the laws of foreign jurisdictions. He has experience executing litigation strategy, drafting complaints and pleadings, briefing dispositive motions, briefing discovery motions, and preparing for depositions on both legal and factual issues. In addition to litigation in federal court, he regularly assists partners in their practice of counseling clients on matters of public policy, political activity, and congressional investigations, as well vetting individuals for high-profile appointments, including assessing potential conflicts of interest those appointments might pose. Kyle is a member of the firm’s Associates Committee, Wellness Committee, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Kyle is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. He will serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Amy Berman Jackson of the United State District Court of the District of Columbia beginning in October 2023. Kyle received his JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School. While in law school, he served as a teaching assistant in the First Year Legal Research and Writing Program, as a student attorney in the law school’s Capital Punishment Litigation Clinic, and as a research assistant to numerous professors. He graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2015 with a BA in Economics.
