About Kyle Wang

I am a PhD holder specializing in AI-based computer modeling of neuron populations in the human cortex. Additionally, I possess a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics with a focus on the optimized modeling of semiconductor characteristics using Artificial Intelligence. My work has resulted in multiple journal publications and a scholarship from the Japanese embassy, which allowed me to conduct research at Gunma University in Japan as a visiting scholar. I transitioned from academia to industry by joining VolparaSolutions (now VolparaHealth, ASX: VHT) as a Computer Vision and AI Scientist, advancing to Senior and Principal roles. I have extensive experience in developing computer vision solutions for hospitals, clinics, and research institutes worldwide, utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies for research prototyping and product release. I also have a passion for building robots using Lego Mindstorms EV3, even if they perform "useless" tasks.
