Kyle handles all competitive construction bids across ACS’s many services including HVAC DDC controls, preventative maintenance for both DDC controls and mechanical service, building intrusion systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV card and secure access system as well as Bogen intercom and communications. Responsibilities for bids include pre job engineering, cost estimate, proposal, post bid follow-up and negotiation. With 7 years of experience in building services and systems, Kyle has been successful in honing in on real job cost. This allows ACS to broaden its horizons in the bid market. Thus far he has been responsible for booking projects from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Jobs have been booked across all types of systems in a diverse group of building types including government office buildings, nursing homes, air force bases, labs, K-12 schools, country clubs, universities, hospitals, office buildings and factories. From “victories” in the bid market Kyle then forms relationships with the building owners and facility staff offering service contracts from 1 to 10 years, preventative maintenance contracts, system central station monitoring and fire alarm inspections. Often relationships result in selling additional systems that the customer didn't use ACS for in the first place. This is a direct result of his dedication to his customers. He aims to help them have the best building systems and service possible, all from one source. Many customers have seeked out Kyle’s expertise in building services and systems to assist them in design build projects. He has successfully assisted in design build with specification and scope writing, system manufacture selection, budget estimates and construction prints.
