As a new graduate nurse, my passion is in critical care as I find great joy in the critical thinking and complex problem solving involved in providing quality care for this patient population. However, during my time in school I have found aspects of every field to love and appreciate. Areas that I have in-hospital clinical experience are:* ICU, Kaiser Permanente, Oakland (240 hours)* Telemetry / Medical-surgical, Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Oakland (160 hours)* Advanced Medical-surgical, Kaiser Permanente, Antioch (48 hours)* Pediatrics / PICU / NICU, CPMC Van Ness, San Francisco (40 hours) I have also completed clinical hours with involvement in community organizations such as:* Pediatrics, Health Heroes at St. Vincent's Day Home, Oakland (20 hours)* Community health, LIFE ElderCare, Fremont (112 hours) I completed my senior preceptorship / capstone at Stanford Medical Center on the blood and marrow transplantation (BMT), hematology unit for a total of 144 hours of direct patient care.
