Engineer in Charge (EIC) With a passion for seamless production and technical excellence, I bring extensive experience as an Engineer in Charge (EIC) across a diverse range of high-profile broadcasts. From the NBA Playoffs and NFL Preseason to entertainment spectacles like the People’s Choice Awards and esports championships for Overwatch and Starcraft II, I specialize in orchestrating complex productions with precision and efficiency. Previously, I served as the Director of Broadcast Production & Technology at UCF Athletics, where I worked closely with a team primarily composed of students and recent graduates. In addition to managing live productions and equipment maintenance, I played a key role in mentoring and training new professionals in the field. I also contributed to education at UCF’s Nicholson School of Communication, assisting with both a practicum and a three-hour course to help develop the next generation of broadcast professionals. Key Strengths & Accomplishments: Broadcast Production Leadership: Led and trained student crews in live sports productions while managing day-to-day technical operations. Technical & Equipment Management: Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast systems to ensure smooth productions. Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Ross Video switchers, Evertz Dreamcatcher Replay servers, Grass Valley and Evertz routing, RTS, ClearCom, Riedel and Unity comms, and Cisco networking. Proficient in terminating coaxial, triax, balanced audio, and ethernet. Adept at schematic and rack elevation drawings, ensuring precise equipment setup. AV & Broadcast Operations: Oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV and broadcast technology to uphold superior production quality. Ensure seamless live broadcasts for ESPN and other major networks, maintaining high technical standards. With a Bachelor’s in Show Production, I combine technical expertise with a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to deliver outstanding results.
