I am a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am pursuing a degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. Growing up I was very involved in my small town and loved to devote my time and efforts back to our community. I knew coming into college I wanted a career that would allow me to make a positive impact on families and my community. I have been able to have a wide variety of experiences in the last four years. Through volunteering, internships, and part-time jobs I found a passion for helping families. I have found so much joy in making a difference for children and I hope to find a job that fits this passion. My ultimate goal is to find a position where I work with children and their families and is related to the mental health field.
