About Kylie Hunter

I am an Instructional Impact Coach working at Fort Leavenworth, KS. I have been in education for nine years and previously taught K-3 Special Education. I am very fortunate to have received extensive training with Fort Leavenworth Schools. I have been trained in the Professional Learning Communities, Jim Knight Instructional Coaching, Fierce Conversations, Ensuring High Quality Curriculum, The Leader in Me: Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and Marzano's High Reliability Schools. Through this training I have learned to enhance my instructional coaching skills, facilitate district and building level professional development, engage in a curriculum writing process, participate and lead district and building level curriculum meetings, facilitate Professional Learning Communities, and more. I find joy in building staff morale, celebrating student growth, and continuing to learner in my own professional practices.
