As the Director of Happy People at East Hotel,(the Director of Rooms), I am passionate about people. Our team of great staff, and the guests that choose to be part of the East family by staying with us, and enjoying the hospitality that East offers our guests. Managing the Front Office team and the Housekeeping team, I am involved in the operation and the daily running of the business from those 2 perspectives. I love being part of a dedicated Management team who strive to make every part of the business a success. Having spent 13 years in business development and account management experience, I am equally equipped in the management of existing client relationships and or pursuing new business opportunities. I have successfully managed numerous corporate and government accounts, with a specific speciality in the government market. A natural communicator with well developed interpersonal skills, I love working with and mentoring teams and ensuring that everyone we encounter has the best possible experience. a I possess strong analytic skills and experience in both account planning and the development of marketing communications strategies, as well as project development. Being results focused I work most effectively under pressure and with a deadline and have maintained a consistent record of achieving or exceeding targets throughout my career. I pride myself in my impeccable people skills, thoroughly enjoy working within diverse environments, learning new things, challenging myself and building relationships.
