About Kylie Moore

During my time in college, I have had 2 internships. One was with Campus Planning, Design and Construction with Montana State University. For this role, I was responsible for working with clients who request maps and/or AutoCAD files for given projects on campus. This job gave me lots of experience in working with databases and keeping things organized. I have also learned how to implement AutoCAD into ArcGIS Pro and vice versa. For my second internship, I was a field hand in Yellowstone National Park. For this role, my job was to work with graduate students working on their research in the park and help them take good field notes, collect hand samples, and offer my geological insight on outcrops. This was a challenging internship and I am very glad I got to be a part of it. Once the field season was over, I was given an opportunity to complete my own research through the USP program at Montana State University. With this opportunity, I have learned how to write a proposal to earn a grant and responsibly conduct my own research. I am currently planning on publishing my results.
