About Kyna Horten

I’m an educator, linguist, and curriculum designer with a specialization in computing and a passion for meaning-making, critical thinking, and learner-centered design. I create inclusive, responsive learning environments that foster autonomy, curiosity, and reflective reasoning — especially for neurodiverse students and those with learning differences. As a life coach, I support clients in aligning their values with actionable goals, drawing from systems thinking, ethical reasoning, and strategic planning to facilitate long-term growth. Across all my work, I’m committed to clarity, intentionality, and practical implementation — whether in the classroom, in coaching conversations, or in dialogue with emerging technologies. My background in linguistics, symbolic systems, and programming continues to inform my teaching and communication style, as well as my evolving interest in AI-enhanced learning and human-computer interaction. I believe in using technology to deepen connection, expand access, and help people better understand themselves and the world around them.
