In my current role as a Bankruptcy Paralegal at Duncan Law LLP with experience preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings, drafting motions, reviewing client documents, and working closely with both clients and the Court. As a legal assistant, I provided support to two attorneys specializing in bankruptcy, business, creditors' rights, commercial real estate, and family law. My role included assisting in the representation of both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, where I review Schedules, Statements, and Forms 91C as the primary assistant to the Chapter 7 Panel Trustee. I am proficient in utilizing the trustee's TCMS case management software, ensuring efficient case management and accurate documentation. Additionally, I supported a divorce attorney by preparing legal documents, coordinating appointments, and keeping clients well-informed throughout their cases. I graduated from George Mason University with a bachelors of science in Psychology and concentrations in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Psychology as well as a minor in Criminology, Law and Society. As an intern for GMU Center for Community Mental Health, I gathered manuals and testing materials for clinicians, monitoring the waiting room, opening and closing the office, communicating with clinicians in writing, and other duties as assigned while maintaining patient confidentiality. In my previous role as a Recovery Support Specialist at Gateway Homes, I ensured medication adherence and maintained safety standards while establishing and building therapeutic relationships with residents with severe mental illness. As a Shift Lead at Chick-Fil- A, I developed efficient order fulfillment and positive communication skills. Volunteering at Hospice of Alamance- Caswell showcased my commitment to community service. In Alpha Xi Delta, I've taken on various leadership roles, enhancing my organizational and interpersonal skills.
