About Kyndavee Bichara

I live in a community where our color, ethnicity, and economic status may control our ability to pursue happiness. As a baby, we are dealt a hand of cards- some better than others. I have been given the opportunity to travel around the world and see things people only dream of seeing. I have traveled across the red sea, rode on the backs of camels, and stared up at the tallest towers in the world. With these opportunities, I have encountered a variety of people. These interactions have broadened my horizons and made me aware of my potential to do anything I set my heart to do. When people are given the opportunity to experience things they find themselves and their purpose in life. Those are the people that change the world. I plan to start my own nonprofit business that would grant kids of low-income status the opportunity to see their potential regardless of the environment they were born. I hope to use my International business degree to change lives and inspire people everywhere to make a difference. Being a business student has allocated me the opportunity to further develop my leadership skills, communication skills, and understanding how to analyze and think critically. Currently I serve as president of Appalachian State University's Black Student Association and Black Student-Athlete Association. I utilize these roles as a vehicle to mentor, do service, and create programing to make a difference.
