About Kyosuke Kinouchi

I have a total of 17 years of experience in indirect procurement, primarily in the steel and chemical industries. I have spent six years each in these areas: procurement of machinery and construction for factories, and logistics - both are relatively long in my career. In addition, I also have experience with leasing vehicles for employees, corporate travel, novelties, and exhibition procurement.(My experience in HR, marketing, and IT procurement is limited.) At my current company, Valeo Japan Co, Ltd, I was responsible for logistics, travel, and communications from 2021 to 2023. In 2024, I was invited by the Head of Human Resources to take on a new role as HR Manager in the Indirect Division under the administration and payroll operations. I was recruited by him since my independent leadership in launching a farm launching project in 2023 for people with disabilities. In my current role, I manage a team of eight and am hands-on in operations, while also working to improve efficiency through digitalization and process optimization.*When I was approached by HR in 2023, I was appealed to the opportunity to gain people management experience and to understand HR procurement from a user’s view. My first year in the role met those expectations.*VES was established in order to streamline and centralize administrative and payroll operations across three business groups, by bringing together members from each group’s HR teams, including newly hired mid-career professionals. I joined in the second year to help strengthen and restructure the organization.
