About Kyra Dvorak
I currently work in Dr. Jetze Tepe’s lab at Michigan State University. My research focuses on the total synthesis of indole alkaloid natural products, with specific emphasis on imidazoline cyclizations, Friedel-Crafts alkylations, and oxidation/reduction. An additional research focus that I am currently pursuing is the synthesis of small molecule analogues as activators of the 20S proteasome. My goals for the future are to, hopefully, pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, as I am very passionate about the potential impact this field could have in the lives of others.
