In my time with SCS I have utilized CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy to help people with a variety of presenting concerns (i.e, General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Phobias, Family Distress, Relationship Distress, Eating Concerns (restriction and binge), and Body Image Issues). I have interview assessments (Triage Assessments) to determine appropriate services to create a continuing care plan. Through this I learned to utilize services beyond just counseling to help a client meet their needs. Additionally, I have helped facilitate a psychoeducational group for anxiety (Anxiety Toolbox). I am passionate about helping people through the mental health profession and have a desire to work with those dealing with mental health diagnoses in all populations.
