About Kyra Michael

A member of the AXA XL MI team in Ipswich appointed as a Senior Data Analyst, working alongside a World Class Paralympic Athlete aiming for the 2024 games. AXA XL is the world leader in large P&C commercial lines and speciality risks. Having been exposed to many BI tools in the past, I am mastering the art of the insurance industry and putting to work my expertise. Primarily, I maintain our 4 SQL Servers, monitor backup procedures and all related objects including the creation of elements required to work with Business Objects (BO). Alongside Database Administration, with the use of SSIS, I streamline internal processes with the aim of increasing department efficiency and productivity. Whilst occasionally creating ad hoc BO reports for either business use or use within packages.More recently, I have been active in supporting data and process migration efforts. So far this has entailed converting Access databases into SQL processes, data sourcing and profiling, query conversion to suit alternative environments and learning certain aspects of a MicroStrategy Architect.
