About Kyra Presnell

I am a motivated Scientist working in the field of In Vivo Biology and Neuropsychiatry. I have experience working with a range of large to small animal species. I have trained alongside veterinary staff and have become proficient in performing the tasks needed to provide the best care to multiple animal species. I have also assisted bioanalytical departments in performing assays with a concentration in pharmacokinetics. In college, my focus was in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience. I previously was a research assistant at Cal State San Marcos in a Behavioral Neuroendocrinology Lab where we studied maternal behavior in relation to postpartum depression. I also volunteer at the Natural History Museum as a live animal caregiver. I have a great deal of experience working in a lab setting, and have completed the CITI and IACUC-approved training necessary for working with laboratory animals. I also have over 10 years of customer service experience, and I pride myself on my work ethic. I am very capable of working independently and as part of a team, and regardless of the job I am doing I will always give it 110%.
