About Kyra Silver

I am an electrical engineering graduate from Queen's University with a passion for communications and power system design. During my time at Queen's, I was the manager of the Electrical Power System (EPS) team for the Satellite team of the Queen's Space Engineering Team (QSET). I am responsible for managing a team of people to design and build a system that can power the satellite. I allocate projects to general members to give them hands-on experience and supplement their classroom learning. I was a general member of the Rover team for the Queen's Space Engineering Team (QSET), during which time I collaborated with my team to complete the wheel and arm PID for the Mars rover. My technical skills include C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, Assembly Language, Microsoft Excel, GitLab, GitHub, OpenTrack, and IBM Rational DOORS. I am in the process of learning SQL and HTML. My strongest soft skills include time management, collaboration, problem-solving, organization, and teamwork.
