About Kyra Welch

As a Program Operations Intern at Braven, I support the implementation and evaluation of a career accelerator program that empowers underrepresented students to achieve their professional aspirations. I collaborate with a diverse team of staff, coaches, and fellows to deliver high-quality and impactful learning experiences, using Discord as a vital tool for communication and engagement. Some of my achievements include creating and updating dashboards, conducting surveys and interviews, and facilitating feedback sessions. I am also a senior Psychology major at Spelman College, where I have developed a strong foundation in research, analysis, and critical thinking skills. I am passionate about exploring the intersections of psychology, education, and social justice, and I aspire to pursue a career in HR and Project Management. As a Braven Leadership Ambassador, I represent and promote the program on campus and have gained valuable leadership and networking skills. I am proud to be part of a community that supports and inspires me to reach my full potential.
