About Laboni Sarker

Hello everyone, I am a PhD candidate majoring Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara and my research work focuses on software security and testing. I am currently involved in some exciting projects: one is focused on evaluating the LLMs in code generation tasks and another one is about patch analysis. I am also thrilled to share that I'm the Director of Tech at Women in Computer Science, UCSB, and an active member of Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS). Additionally, I have mentored undergraduate students as part of the Early Research Scholar Program 2022-23. In summer 2022, I had the pleasure of interning in a cybersecurity position at Motional, a pioneering self-driving autonomous car company. I am incredibly proud to have been a Grace Hopper Scholar, and to have participated in the biggest gathering of women in tech from around the world at GHC 2022. I am always up for gaining new experiences, building new skills and networking. Whether it's pushing the boundaries of software security or championing diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, I am eager to make a difference!
