About Lacey Knapp

I am a people person. To anyone looking from the outside in, they’re thinking “Well I would hope so – your background is Human Resources.” Yet somehow the very definition of being a “people person” somehow gives the stereotype of outgoing, social butterfly, extrovert, “i” on the DiSC chart, “E” on the Myers-Briggs, larger than life personality. In reality, I tend to be the opposite. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a boring, wallpaper person. I think the most apropos term is “extroverted-introvert”—put me at a social mixer or networking event and I am likely the person hanging off to the side awkwardly avoiding eye contact. Put me in front of a class, with a goal and purpose to teach… well that’s where you see the very definition of “thriving.” My passion is connecting with people, help them bring out the best in themselves, and giving them the tools they need to succeed. I believe that we all have a great deal to learn, an endless capacity to adapt, and the intrinsic ability to be great. It just needs cultivation. That’s where education and training become vital. I would consider myself happiest when facilitating a course in a classroom, creating visual content that’s engaging and precise, or working with others who have the same vision of what’s needed to create a beautiful reality.
