I'm a 26-year-old Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) graduate from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Victoria. I achieved my degree with distinction. I have a keen interest in both machine & fluid dynamics, research and development, 3D modelling and material sciences. Throughout my degree, I volunteered as Team Lead for most group assignments, and successfully led those projects to a very high standard. My final year research project was a study on the sensitivity of wind turbine generator blades to damage, focusing on their respective power production. This project was done with participation from AGL.I concluded my internship with AGL Renewables in Melbourne at the end of Oct 23 as a Student Mechanical Engineer. In this role, I reviewed condition information and maintenance strategies of wind farms within AGLs fleet, updating their asset management plans accordingly. I also made large contributions to condition monitoring reports, which lead engineers and asset managers received.I was transferred into this role after completing a 3-month internship at AGL Hydro over the 22/23 break. This role required my active involvement in various concurrent projects in various stages in their respective developments. Typically, these projects focused on increasing the power generation of the existing assets and maintaining the assets such that they run more efficiently, or require less maintenance than previously needed.I was employed in the coffee production industry with over 2 years of experience, a large focus of my role is quality control and precision, which are essential to the profitability and consistency of the business. In the past, I have accrued 4+ years of experience in customer service roles in both hospitality and retail environments; where speed, communication and consumer connection are of high value. Furthermore, I have over 5 years of experience on building sites as a plumbers labourer. In this role my skill-set involved; problem solving, soldering copper pipe, underground pipe installation, and heavy lifting.
