About Lachlan Mansell

Hi, Lachy Mansell here! You may recognise me from my appearance on Channel 9's Beauty and the Geek reality TV show during 2021, or heard me on the airwaves of the Kyle and Jackie-O Show on KIIS FM in Sydney. but those roles are only part of my story. I’m a qualified journalist with a long-standing passion for the automotive industry, and have worked in motorsport media since I was 14. I enjoy working with drivers, teams, events and motorsport categories through my business, Chequered Flag Media, to tell their unique stories and keep them in the spotlight. One of my greatest pleasures is commentating racing events; in particular I enjoy the challenge of communicating the evolving storylines of longer-distance endurance races in language that makes the audience appreciate fine sporting theatre. Off the back of my recent reality TV and radio experience, I've also developed other interests including male mental health and self-confidence, and I'm open to public speaking and content creation opportunities in relation to these topics. I'm at home when I'm speaking in front of large audiences, and I have provided MC services for corporate functions, such as the Bathurst Business Chamber's annual awards evening. I also continue to run my Chequered Flag Media business, providing media, PR and content creation/management services to various clients.
