About Lachlan Mitchell

I'm a self motivated creative producer, audio engineer, studio owner/manager, and teacher with over 25 years' experience in Music Production, Live Sound Reinforcement, Team Management and Audio Recording. My primary skill set is Audio Production, but I have also worked extensively in advertising and education, so have a wide skillset for collaboration and working in a team environment with high-pressure deadlines. I have worked in some of the top recording studios in the world (AIR, London, and Studios 301, Sydney), engineered and produced bands and artists for 25 years in a wide range of musical styles, and owned and operated three separate large format world-class recording studios. Throughout my career I have taught music production and engineering at tertiary institutions: TAFE, JMC, and The Australian Institute of Music. I have worked extensively with senior corporate clients in advertising and government agencies for corporate audio shows and recordings. I have also had many years of experience mixing music and audio at large scale public concerts, and sporting events throughout Australia.
