About Lacho B.

As the Director of Product Management at Lab08, I lead the vision and strategy of software products by deeply understanding user and buyer personas, identifying their needs and pain points, and crafting targeted software solutions, MVPs, and development roadmaps. I am responsible for the onboarding and continuous upskilling of Product Managers, ensuring they adopt and apply effective continuous Discovery processes, to keep product solutions aligned with user needs. I also conduct thorough due diligence for VCs before investments. I've done this on 60+ investments to date that range from Pre-seed all the way to Series A rounds. Some of the topics covered include Product Development Strategy, Planning and Execution, Team and Expertise, Competitive Product Assessment, Technical Assessment of code and architecture, Infrastructure and Security. Prior to joining Lab08, I was a Product Manager at FXCM and Human Liberty Ltd, where I identified opportunities for product optimization, conducted user interviews and surveys, wrote user stories, groomed product backlog, and prioritized tasks. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from St. Francis College and a Licentiate degree in Real Estate from New York Real Estate Institute. I am skilled in Agile Project Management, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma.
