I am the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Augmntr, Inc, a company focused on delivering real-time, real-world visualization solutions using today’s Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality display systems. As these exciting technologies evolve, the possibilities of truly immersive data visualization solutions arise – and Augmntr’s goal is to help transform today’s AR and VR systems into hands-free, eyes-up solutions that improve worker capabilities, workplace efficiency and overall jobsite safety. After nearly fifteen years designing and fielding ultra-high performance stabilized airborne imaging systems for both commercial and defense applications, I co-founded Augmntr with my good friend Alex Pavloff. It is our goal to help industry and government customers leverage the capabilities offered by AR and VR technologies – and our experiences supporting both the commercial and government customer communities allow us a unique perspective about how to benefit both market segments. By bringing the best of both worlds, Augmntr can help deliver high performance AR and VR systems-level solutions that cannot be accomplished by simple applications of typical commercial products or approaches. I am a genuine believer in the power of customer service – simple things like keeping your commitments, avoiding surprises, and taking accountability for your actions (both positive and negative!) go a long way to building strong customer relationships. Strong relationships and partnerships are the best way to conquer hard problems – and technology development and insertion is no different. This is the basic mindset that I’ve developed over my career and is the approach that Alex and I both share and foster here at Augmntr.
