About Lain Chhen

I went to school for Respiratory Therapy and am currently working as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Being a Respiratory Therapist has taught me a lot of life skills that can help me throughout other careers. As a Therapist, I was able to learn time management, organizational skills, and communication. I must be able to time manage my workload in order to be able to properly treat my patients, I must be organized to help me create a calm environment in sometimes emergency situations, and last but not least, communication. Communication plays a big role, I must be able to talk to my patients to meet there needs, also talk to nurses and doctors to carry out orders to help our patients, and lastly be able to speak to my colleagues so we can work as a team to carry out the same goal.
