About Laird Bishop

For nearly two decades I have been active in Information Technology in large enterprise environments. The common thread which runs through the many disciplines I have employed throughout my career is a specialty in operating system imaging and deployment and scripted automation of repetitive administrative tasks. To this end I have effectively leveraged tools such as System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Microsoft USMT, ACT, Microsoft VBScript and PowerShell to name a few. My commitment to sustainability and the environment and my love of the great outdoors have led me to seek a more natural lifestyle. In support of my dream to transition to an office without walls, I have focused on the tools and skills required to be an effective remote worker. In today's connected world I seek to showcase the benefits to individuals, employers and the environment which can be realized through developing and sharing the skills and technology necessary to work effectively within the IT industry from anywhere. I continually strive to hone my skill set in order to maintain recognition as a primary resource for OS imaging, deployment, migration and automation as an effective remote worker.
