About Laith Wark

I am a landscape architect and certified arboriculturist with over 20 years of experience designing environments across the Gulf region. I have led teams to deliver high-profile national projects, including the Founders Memorial in Abu Dhabi, the Parliament House of Oman, and the Royal Muscat Opera House—projects that I loved working on and were very rewarding. I have been a resident of the UAE since 2002 and understand what it means to live with extreme climate in a Gulf city. I have worked and travelled extensively in the UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran. I led the Dubai studio for 20 years and now lead the NatureCulture design studio in Florence, Italy. I travel often between Europe and the Gulf. I have completed over 200 projects in the Gulf region, focusing on improving the human experience of outdoor environments. My approach centers on using trees as urban design elements, enhancing spatial qualities and outdoor thermal comfort. With expertise in both landscape architecture and arboriculture, I provide straightforward, reliable guidance to high level stakeholders.
