Background
About Lakisha Jackson
God did not create me to fear or to worry, but to praise His name through the storm and in sunshine.” I have 30+ years experience with supervising & training staff, budgeting/finance. I started in the very beginning as a teenager. I have worked in fast food, corporate America and now in higher education. With every position I hold, I continue to grow and learn. Other skills/experience include, but is not limited to: event planning, curriculum building, adjunct faculty (MRKT, PSYC, EDUC), budget analysis, project management, board appointments/ roles, employee resource groups, develop/create/manage mentoring programs, grant management, etc. I have worked in higher education since 2007 and it’s my heart’s work. My passionate, empathetic soul is truly tied to the WHY of who I serve (students and staff). I strive to transform lives through encouragement and advocacy. My purpose is clear. My work is meaningful.#educatorsmatter #educationmatters #faith #transform #empower #strengthen
