I have 6 years of experience within the leisure industry, I believe I am good at leadership within a sporting environment as I am good at coaching others and helping people to develop their own game. I am good at inspiring the younger generations to work hard and achieve their dreams due to my experience. My verbal and non-verbal communication methods have advanced increasingly due to my pool guarding skills, so that everyone can understand what they need to do. I believe working as a team within an peak times, will allow me to communicate well with the experience I have. Working in a fast pace industry is something of a common knowledge which is permanently part of my life. I have been brought up in a hardworking, determined and respectful household. With my family running a local off license. I am seen and experienced first-hand how hard and difficult it is running a business. Throughout many years my parents have helped and developed my skills and made me understand the basics of life. From this work experience I have learnt how to communicate better with people, it has also helped me with my time keeping as when volunteering you need to make sure that you are on time. I have gained new skills and met good people who have taught me a lot in respecting, adapting, listening and understanding to new situations, tasks and people. By covering people’s sick shifts, working against time and having trust within areas of the leisure industry, I have been given responsibilities which have allowed me to advance and learn a lot within my 6 years of work. I am an eager, proactive individual who is prepared for a challenge, especially through the current climate I am already aware and equipped to for the necessary precautions for customer safety and well being of their experience.
