About Lakshmi Krishnakumar

Passionate about making a positive impact in the community, I bring over 25 years of diverse experience across banking, education, and social services. Currently serving as an Assistant at the Migrant Worker Center, I am dedicated to supporting migrant workers.I also work as a facilitator with Edible Garden City conducting farm tours and having conversations on Sustainability issues in Singapore and the world. As an English Drama Teacher, I have fostered creativity and communication skills among students, while my background in secured and unsecured lending has honed my analytical and organizational skills. I also actively volunteer with seniors and community groups, always seeking to empower those around me. I am a strong advocate for community engagement and serve as a council member in the parents' association, where I successfully organized various events. I am committed to exploring opportunities in the Social Services sector, where I can further leverage my skills and passion for social impact. While I'm not working or volunteering with the community, you will find me meditating, on a nature trial, baking or in the midst of striking a yoga pose. I am actively seeking opportunities in the Social Services sector where I can contribute my extensive experience and passion for community work.
