Over the past couple of years in the industry, I have been building upon, and practicing certain beliefs. These beliefs are characteristic of my mindset and professionalism.[Be the change]: I have moved to the Human Resources department, to be able to create and contribute to the transformations in people practices as demanded in this ever changing, agile world.[Inclusion starts with “I”]: The rest of the world may or may NOT have it as a priority. But that should NOT stop me from being inclusive. It is human tendency (agnostic of country/ belief/ culture) to reciprocate an action. And by me being inclusive, over a period of time, it would trigger a change in the people I work with.[Symmetry of attention]: While I stay focused on Client needs, as a Leader, I strive to provide the right equity to needs of those who actually deliver the Client needs i.e. my Team.[Agile is just a mindset]: With the most basic of agile concepts (stories, sprints and retrospection), some of the core HR practices (performance, career management and learning) can be adapted to the new ways of working.
