About Lakshmi Sripada

Over a decade of experience in the field of Program Management, Health Systems Strengthening and Knowledge Management. She has been at the forefront of providing technical assistance to National and State Governments to drive program and policy reforms in the areas of Sustainable Development, Health & Nutrition, Knowledge management, capacity planning, Universal Health coverage and HIV/AIDS among others. A meticulous and a passionate professional, Lakshmi currently supports various projects funded by the World Bank in Public Health space in developing and implementing strategies in areas such as Human Resource for Health, Health Insurance, Health Financing and Performance Management. She has previously worked with various government and non-government organizations and led the successful transition of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded Avahan project to the National AIDS Control (NACO) and further supported the India Learning Networks to establish south-to-south knowledge sharing and technical support units for HIV/AIDS in Africa and South Asia. She is a passionate professional with exceptional program/project management skills, including oversight of budgets, contracts/grants, human capital, and consultant/vendor resources. Lakshmi is a Post Graduate in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, with a specialization in family and child welfare and an Arts Graduate with a major in Psychology and Political science.
