About Lamar Morris

Lamar has been helping corporate executives, business owners, and wealthy families develop and implement creative financial strategies for more than 20 years. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1997 and joined the team at Stifel in 2020. Clients who are committed to their long-term financial goals value the comprehensive planning approach he brings to their relationship. As a portfolio manager in Stifel’s Solutions Program, Lamar manages assets on a discretionary basis using a pre-screened investment approach. This enables him to quickly react to market conditions when implementing his clients’ investment strategies. The result is customized investment management, with strategies tailored to his clients’ specific needs or objectives. Lamar earned a B.A. in Political Science from Rice University and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification. Outside the office, Lamar volunteers his time coaching various youth sports in the Houston area and enjoys playing tennis and golf when time permits.
