Lamar is a passionate leader devoted to building relationships, diagnosing problems, and delivering practical solutions through various capabilities. Lamar has project management experience with the current role of Deputy Project Manager for a strategic data transformation project, and previously served as a Cultural Transformation Lead to assist clients to enhance Employee Engagement and Recognition practices to shape the future, post-COVID-19 workplace. He is committed to learning new skills such as MySQL, Python, R, Tableau and other business analytic platforms through William and Mary's Master of Science Business Analytics program to empower leaders with data-driven decisions to optimize and expand their businesses. Professional experience includes nine-year Army Logistics Officer career by way of USMA, featuring Operations roles leading teams of Soldiers through logistics and communications battle drills during multiple iterations of the ‘Network Integrated Exercise’ (NIE) in Fort Bliss, Texas. He completed a 12-month tour of Uganda in Africa serving as a Logistics Directorate across four countries, and completed a three-year tour in Germany to include logistics area directorate in western European territories and Maintenance Troop Commander of the Regimental Support Squadron, 2D Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, DEU. In his spare time, Lamar enjoys performing voice over work, improv, poetry, comedy and most creative forms of art to express joy and laughter in the world.
