Database Administrator with experience in installing, performance problem mitigation (tuning, optimizing, configuring), maintaining and upgrading various servers and databases, creating backups and logs, deploying and supporting database high availability (mirroring, clustering), simplifying administration process, implementing security checks and generating reports. Deep understanding of best practices and the value of data within an organization. As a system administrator, I am also experienced in managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating hardware and software assets, and administering and supporting IT infrastructures. I spearheaded the end-user upgrade for 50+ PCS to Windows 10 using Windows deployment service. I also spearheaded the deployment of self enrollment kiosks machine at the Banjul International Airport. I am a licensed digital literacy trainer. I have conducted training in many institutions and cooperate environments. I am the lead trainer in Securiport Gambia. I was also the training and research office for The Gambia Cyber Security Alliance (Civil Society Organization). I am also a member of the Career Development Community. I help in guiding people on the road map to their careers.
