About Lamonya Lockett

I am currently a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Synergy Services. I find immense joy in helping people discover employment opportunities that give them purpose. It's a privilege to be part of someone's journey to find their place in the world. My background as a Director of Human Resources and Operations, along with my experience in full-cycle recruitment taught me the importance of understanding the needs of both candidates and hiring managers, and it's a skill I carry with me every day. One of my proudest moments at Synergy Services was being recognized at our employee awards breakfast for my five-year work anniversary. It's moments like these that reinforce why I’m passionate about what I do and keep me motivated to continue making an impact. My goal is to be a mentor and guide, helping others grow in their careers and find fulfilling opportunities. I believe in the power of clear communication, active listening, and building relationships—skills I encourage in others just starting out. I’m the go-to person for pre-employment processes, but my real passion lies in creating recruitment strategies that not only meet organizational goals but also support individual growth. Oh, and did I mention that I am especially passionate about attracting and retaining talent? Outside of work, my family and faith are my anchors. I enjoy traveling, taking walks in nature, the color pink, and making memories with the family my husband and I have built together. My involvement with Macedonia Baptist Church also reflects my commitment to community service, giving me a chance to continue to serve and support others, especially in those in underserved areas. It’s all about making a positive impact, both personally and professionally, and inspiring others along the way.
